Grandma’s Cookies Grandma Blocher (Ben and Marcus’ after-school snack)
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
1 ½ cup shortening, marg. or butter
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp. Baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
10 cups flour (approx., enough to make dough stiff enough to roll out)
Roll out and cut into desired shapes. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. Makes large batch.
