Chicken Cordon Bleu

Chicken Cordon Bleu by Jen Hopkin (Israel 1996)

Chicken breast thawed and cut sideways (not all the way through)
Sliced Ham and Swiss cheese put inside the chicken
Dip chicken in melted margarine and roll in cornflakes and parsley (smashed). Lay chicken in a greased dish and bake at 350 until done -–30 – 40 minutes.

White Sauce
2 TBS margarine
2 TBS flour
2 cups milk
dash of salt & pepper

Mix all together and simmer until somewhat thick. Pour over chicken and cook a bit longer.
